European Confederation of Linen

CELC is a European professional organisation that regroups and federates all the actors of production and transformation of linen/flax and hemp at every stage. The confederation is representative of 10,000 companies and it is also a think tank and an analysis and orientation centre. CELC promotes linen/flax and hemp and covers different fields: fashion, lifestyle and also innovation ( for composite material and eco-building).

Challenge

Creating a communication medium for internal and outside B2B, and by extension for the general public.

Setting up a recurring information and attractive rendez-vous, that is relevant for the members and offers resources to the opinions leaders.

Recommendations and actions

Choosing a large printed format similar to a newspaper to enhance the creativity and the interdisciplinary aspect of the European linen and hemp sector. Each season, it is printed in 25,000 copies and has been in 3 languages for the last 14 issues.

Recommendations and actions

From the first issues, the illustrations’ selectivity conducts the contents. The illustrations are substantiated by documented articles, reports, interviews, mood-boards. Altogether, 24 pages are cadenced by a fine typographic grid that evolves season after season.
